Disabled People Need Exercise

It is important for everyone to workout regardless of what medical or physical condition they have. Exercise can help improve your strength, flexibility and mobility, it keeps your heart and lungs healthy, and it makes you feel better at the end of the day. But you main focus should be on getting a lot of movement so that your muscles will not be stiff and rigid.

One more exercise you can do is resistance training with some resistance bands. This also improves your strength plus you flexibility allowing you to do wider range of movement even on a wheelchair without straining your neck or back too much. When exercising with resistance bands, you would need to find some sturdy objects to help you out like the door or a pole. Just wrap one end of the band on there and you can use the other end to workout. Shoulder rotations or arm extensions are some options for you.

Exercise for disabled people does not need to be hardcore, it just has to allow you to move a lot so you can keep your muscles working. Exercise will not only allow you to do more, it will also make you live longer so you will not be a handicap but instead be handicapable.
