Crash Diet Vs Regular Exercise

If you really want to lose weight, then crash dieting should never be one of your options. Crash Dieting is a method where a person would skip meals, induce himself to vomit, or take drugs that will make him move his bowels at an accelerated rate. Crash dieting has its own consequences and most of them will be felt immediately. However, if you exercise regularly, you can even do yourself more good than harm. 1. Crash dieting will cause gastric ulcers. Although you don't eat, your stomach will continue to produce digestive acids and grind upon itself. The food in your stomach empties in about 4 - 6 hours. When you don't replace anything in there in that time frame, you are making it digest itself. The end result would be stomach ulcers. Stomach ulcers are very painful because these are like wounds in your stomach. If you just exercise and eat a balanced meal every time, you will lose fat in a healthy and ulcer-free way.

2. Crash dieting causes bad breath and bad teeth. You may experience this when you force yourself to vomit after eating. The digestive juices from your stomach will also corrode the lining of your teeth. This will result to stained teeth. In the long run, the protective coat of your teeth will be damaged also. The bacteria that would grow in your cavities will eventually lead to having bad breath. Instead of suffering these, why not lose weight normally and have good smelling breath and sparkling teeth? In a matter of speaking, crash dieting would just be like trying to solve a problem by making another one.

3. Crash dieting medications may have side effects. Have you heard of slimming capsules or colon blowers? These are wide-spread nowadays and it makes the interest of people in exercise go away because they think that taking slimming medications is the fastest and easiest way to lose weight. The fact is, exercise is better because you wouldn't have to suffer the side effects that these medications have. Although some claim that they got this from a natural source, still exercise would be more health-friendly by a long shot.

Since people are too busy with work, they find no time to go to the gym to exercise. The good news is, you don't have to crash diet if you don't have the time to go to the gym.
