Wind, snow and cold need not hinder your walking and jogging program. For you to feel warm, you need to layer your clothes. You have to wear shoes with deep traction in order to prevent slipping. It is recommended to have a workout buddy. Do intensive warm ups. Stretching after warming up is necessary. The winter season will make your muscles stiff and cold. Hydrate well. The Importance Of Exercise For Infants
One of the things that can keep you healthy is exercise and we all need exercise, old and young even babies. Infants need exercise as much as we do but the good thing is that they don't have to go to the gym or do any regular exercise routine because all they really need to do is what they do best and that is through free and active playing. Infants are very hyperactive and move around a lot and that already serves as an exercise for them. It is hard to think about leaving a baby by him or herself and let them move around as much as they want to but allowing them to do that reaps long term rewards.
Like with any adult, exercise helps prevent obesity from occurring is if a child is allowed to move around freely. This allows your child to be more familiar with their body and learn how it works so they would eventually learn to move around on their own by crawling or walking or running. Allowing your baby to have a free, active play time allows them to develop their motor skills much faster than in a controlled environment where the child is taught how to do these things. It is also makes it a habit for the child to constantly have a physical activity that they can do as they get older. Exercise also makes a child eat better, sleep more and have good metabolism.
Physical development is not the only thing exercise can give your baby. Many studies have proven that exercise also improves cognitive functions. Children who are active actually learn faster and have a longer atention span than those who don't. You may be thinking that you can teach a child so they can learn what they have to and that is right however, a child's attention span is as short as their fingers so teaching a child can actually hinder them from naturally developing these skills on their own. When you let your child play and move around on their own, it helps them become more confident and independent. And exercise generally promotes a better mood for everyone and what more for kids who always seem to have fun.
The trouble parents find with this suggestion of allowing their child to move around as much as they want is that they might get hurt but by simply baby proofing your house, you can solve that problem. You may consider setting up a play pen for your child to do all these things so you can watch or even play with them. Letting your child play and learn by themselves is not a bad thing and will not form a gap between you and your child. You have to learn to trust your child as they learn by themselves and this trust will eventually stick with you until they grow up.
Infants need exercise as much as we do and you now know why so let your child play as much as they want to and the way that they want to.
